Freelancer: Front-end Developer

Bou is a new-school Nordic brand company working with clients such as Polestar, Klarna and Metacore. We are building brands in various domains, including design, marketing, communications and development. To support our work, we have gathered together over 8,000+ creative freelancers from 100+ countries, and are actively matching skilled freelancers with interesting clients. We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Front-end Developer to join our project team on a contractual basis for an upcoming project. As a Front-end Developer, you will be responsible for translating design concepts into functional and visually appealing user interfaces. Your expertise in frontend technologies and attention to detail will be instrumental in creating seamless and engaging user experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Working independently and collaborating with the design and development teams to understand project requirements and implement frontend solutions that align with the overall vision.
• Develop clean, efficient, and maintainable frontend code using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and relevant frameworks (such as React, Vue.js, or Angular).
• Create responsive and mobile-friendly interfaces that work seamlessly across different devices and browsers.
• Implement interactive features and functionality, including animations, transitions, and user input validation.
• Optimize frontend performance and ensure smooth page loading and responsiveness.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging to identify and fix frontend issues or inconsistencies.
• Collaborate with backend developers to integrate frontend interfaces with backend systems or APIs.

Requirements:

We are looking for a freelancer Front-end Developer with 2+ years of proven track record.

• Proven experience as a Front-end Developer or a similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing frontend projects.
• Proficiency in frontend technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and relevant frameworks/libraries (Typescript, React, Vue.js, Angular, etc.).
• Strong understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first development.
• Familiarity with frontend build tools (Webpack, Vite, esbuild, etc.) and version control systems (Git).
